All Kahlbacher products are developed and manufactured entirely in Austria.

We have two production sites in Kitzbühel. This is where planning, construction and sales take place. Customers in particular benefit from our location, which is advantageous in terms of transport.

The Kahlbacher plant in Amstetten was built in 1976 as a service center in eastern Austria and expanded and modernised in 2018 with an approximately 800-square-metre production extension.

It was Toni Kahlbacher, Technical Counsel and founder of our company, who played a decisive role in shaping the history of snow clearing. Today, after 70 years, no other name is as closely connected with the subject of winter services as Kahlbacher.

The success story as a complete supplier of technically advanced clearing equipment for roads, rails and airfields, as well as for the processing of ski slopes began in 1949 in Kitzbühel, the home of the founder. Since 1976, our customers have also been served by our second plant in Amstetten.
