Contacting us

If you contact us using the form on the website or by email, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months in order to process your enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

Data storage (webshop)

We would like to point out that in order to simplify the purchasing process and for subsequent contract processing, the webshop operator stores the connection owner's IP data as cookies, this includes the buyer's company, name, address (street, house number, postcode, city, country), telephone number, mobile number, fax, and email address.

In addition, the following data will also be stored by us for the purpose of contract processing: delivery address (if different to home address). The data you provide is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or for the execution of pre-contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with you. Data will not be passed on to third parties - with the exception of retailers - if the buyer requests direct shipment; to the transport/ shipping company we contract to deliver the goods or to our tax consultant for the fulfilment of our tax obligations.

The data stored by us will be deleted after the shopping process is aborted. If a contract is concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years). The name, address, goods purchased and date of purchase details will also be stored until the expiry of product liability (10 years). Data is processed in compliance with the legal provisions of § 96 Paragraph 3 TKG (Telecommunications Act) and Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit a (consent) and/ or lit b (necessary for contract fulfilment) of the GDPR.

User of Facebook plugins

We integrated plugins from the social network facebook.com (hereinafter "Facebook") into our website. Facebook is a company of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. Every time you access a page on our website that uses a plugin of this kind, the plugin causes the browser you are using to load and display the plugin design from the Facebook server. By integrating these plugins, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook user account or are not currently logged into Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you have a Facebook account and are logged in while visiting our website, Facebook uses the information sent by the plugin to identify which particular page of our website you are currently visiting and assigns this to your personal account on Facebook, regardless of whether you click on one of the plugins or not. If you do interact with one of the plugins, for example by clicking the "Like" button or by leaving a comment, this will be sent to your personal user account on Facebook and will be saved there. You can sign up to our newsletter on our website. We need your email address, company, title/ name and your agreement to receive the newsletter.
You can unsubscribe at any time. To do so simply click the link in the newsletter or send an email to the following address: info@kahlbacher.com. We will immediately delete the details you used to sign up to the newsletter.

Your rights

Essentially, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
